Cargo Cult Science

Cargo Cult Democracy

In his 1974 Caltech Commencement Address to the fresh graduates the physicist and Manhattan project participant Richard Feynman (https://calteches.library.caltech.edu/51/2/CargoCult.htm) warned about Cargo Cult Science that only appears like science but is not rigorous and truthful. He tells the story how Pacific Islanders are trying to get Cargo Planes back by recreating a landing strip after US soldiers left. Despite putting up a bamboo stick as a stand-in for an antenna and creating other similarly looking items of the air field the cargo does not return.

People in the US have been brain-washed to believe that their Democracy is the greatest in the world. But when we look carefully at how the vote counting mechanism translates votes into representation in Government we find that instead of a linear and unbiased counting system we have a reverse power selection flow where corrupt politicians with the Gerrymander sharpie add more of their corrupt friends to misrepresent the actual votes in their states.

The picture above wants to create an impression that voters are going to a slot machine hall where they cast their votes. Each state has its own slot machine. A Republican voter can throw as many Elephant tokens into the slots as he wants, but the machine allways responds with Kamala-Kamala-Kamala. Similarly a Democratic voter can throw Donkey tokens into the Texas slots and only receives Trump-Trump-Trump.

To establish a functioning democracy that is not a DINO (Democracy In Name Only) we must reform the vote counting algorithm so that it creates a faithful representation of the voters will for every state.

This is what the Trashwalker Gerrymander Flush Algorithm achieves.

Bang-Bang push button control

How can we land this plane?

We need to replace the sticky push button control and its 250 year old frayed wires with a linear and non-biased vote counting algorithm.
